Wine Review: This wine has a mild shy bouquet. On the palate, the wine is nicely balanced and has a nice smooth feel to it. This medium bodied wine has a little acidic structure to it. The finish is nicely dry and a bit lengthy. If you are looking for a very good wine to go with your meal, this would be a very good choice. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Inviting in appearance with its dark ruby red color, the 2003 Merriam Vineyards "Jones Vineyard" Cabernet Franc brings scents of plum-violets and hints of light smoke and spice to the nose. Upon tasting, flavors of blueberry and currant on the palate give way to a thick and lasting finish of vanilla, sweetwood, and a hint of coconut.
