Wine Review: David Ramey cut his teeth at Chalk Hill, Matanzas Creek, Dominus, and most recently Rudd Estate before starting his own winery in 1996 with his wife Carla. With this pedigree high hopes always rest on his wines and they always deliver. This Cabernet Sauvignon blend drinks like wine twice its price: deep, dark color, black fruit and rich, mouth coating glycerin. "Claret" is a generic term that British people call everyday Bordeaux wine, and this claret is anything but. - Alex
