Wine Review: This blend of traditional grapes from the Valpolicella region of northern Italy is made in the inventive ripasso style. This means that the majority of the wine is vinified immediately while the remaining grapes are left to dry until late December. The winemaker then blends the two parcels to create a wine of unparalleled quality for the price. It is deep ruby red in color and has hints of dried fruits and herbs with moderated tannins. More than your average pizza wine! Enjoy - Alex
