Review: The Sonoma Cheese Factory is a fun place to stop in when you are in Sonoma wine country. It is a great place to pick up essentials for your picnic lunch or dinner. They have a gourmet deli and store featuring made-to-order sandwiches and picnic items including a large selection of cheeses, cold meats and salads. They also have wines from Sonoma Valley and wine gifts and gadgets.

They are located on Sonoma’s picturesque and historic plaza, site of the Bear Flag Revolt and home of California’s last mission. Even if you can not visit their store in person you can order some of their Sonoma Jack cheese and other delicious food items on line from their website. If you are fortunate enough to visit in person, picnic provisions are available from their deli to help you enjoy beautiful Sonoma Valley and its wineries. We did and we recommend that you stop in for a visit too.
