Wine Review: This pale straw colored Bellone from Italy opens with a white peach and wet stone bouquet with hints of fennel and honey. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty chalky minerality and white tea blend with notes of honeydew melon and almond. I also detected a hint of ginger. The finish is dry and its flavors and gentle acidity drift away nicely. This food-friendly white wine will pair well with a chilled crab cocktail. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep yellow flecked with gold. The wine evokes sunshine and ripe tropical fruit such as mango and papaya, carefully balanced by a marked acidity which makes it suitable for long bottle aging. Rich, ample and lingering on the palate with light floral and spicy notes. Hallmarked by its pronounced acidity and zesty tang. A long finish.
