Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a poached Bartlett pear and lime bouquet with hints of apple blossom and pastry crust. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, rounded and bright. The flavor profile is honeydew melon and stony mineral blend with notes of lime zest and saline. We also detected hints of quince, lemon curd, and white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and tannins linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with baked haddock or with oysters. Enjoy – KWGTP
