Wine Review: This light yellow colored Vermentino from Lodi in California opens with green apple bouquet with a hint of peach. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, very crisp and acidic. The flavor profile is a mineral infused tart green apple with notes of lime and white pepper. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. This wine would pair well with shrimp scampi. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Fresh, crisp and lively: with aromas of lime, quince and pear (along with a mineral hint of oyster shells); with flavors of green melon, salted green apple and other stone fruits.
