Wine Review: This dark ruby Sangiovese and Cab based blend opens with a mild mulberry bouquet with hint of oak and cherry cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a mild black currant with very nicely integrated old oak and gentle black cherry in the background. The finish is dry and it mild tannins are friendly. I would pair this very nice wine with veal medallions. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Red currants and ripe, wild strawberries meld with oak spice and an attractive hint of earthiness in this vibrant wine. Well-integrated tannins provide a velvety mouth-feel, layers of structure and a long, pleasant finish.
