Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay opens with a pineapple and papaya bouquet with hints of green apple and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and gentle. The flavor profile is a mild lemon-lime blend with notes of soft minerality and green apple. We also detected hints of pineapple, baked bread and a touch of white pepper. The finish dry and mouthwatering. The Panel would pair this Chard with baked Dover sole or baked haddock. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: White peach, star jasmine and gardenia aromas mingle with a trace of vanilla. Bright fresh flavors evolve on the mid-palate and vibrantly burst in a delicious framework of fresh natural acidity. This wine is crafted in the style that we prefer, which avoids the heavy hands of malolactic fermentation and excessive oak, creating a Chablis-style wine.
