Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored Merlot opens with a black cherry and cassis bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, very nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty wintermint and kirsch blend with hints of plum mixed in. The finish is dry and its dusty moderate tannins show nice length. This Merlot is showing very nicely right now and was well like by all that tried it. It would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is a Merlot for Cabernet lovers. All Merlot, but more wine than a lot of Cabernets! Aromas reminiscent of red currant and cassis couple with an insinuation of chocolate. The mid-palate is rich with sweet fruit flavors that resolve in a gently gripping finish.
