Wine Review: This opaque and onyx colored Petite Sirah from Napa Valley opens with a very inviting blackberry and plum bouquet with hints of blueberry and mature oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a lightly tart plum with notes of black pepper. We also detected hints of peppermint. The finish is dry and its sticky tannins are very lengthy. The panel suggested pairing this big Petite with roasted lamb or a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Effusively ripe aromas of blackberry pie and briar introduce this inky dark Petite Sirah. A flood of rich sweet fruit and expansive flavors coat the palate. The balance of natural acidity, alcohol, and extract resolve with the fine tannins in the finish. The magic of the wine is the combination of its fundamental power and liveliness.
