Wine Review: Heavenly is the way a Petite Sirah fan would describe this wine. This pitch black offering from Robert Foley really impressed our table at a recent dinner at Grill 23 in Boston. It opens with a fragrant boysenberry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced, rich, and concentrated. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of ripe blueberry, cocoa, and a touch of boysenberry and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well controlled and melt away nicely. This Petite went perfectly with my Grill 23 ribeye and butter soaked red beets. Enjoy - Ken
