Wine Review: This almost clear colored dry Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a mild pear bouquet with hints of lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild mineral influenced green apple with hints of lime and faint grapefruit. The finish is dry and very refreshing. I would pair this very nice Riesling with grilled swordfish. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Riesling is the flagship variety of the Finger Lakes and produced in this dry and elegant style is refreshing, intriguing and satisfying. Crisp, dry and aromatic, this wine shows classic Finger Lakes style. Flavors of orange peel, apricot and lemon curd fill the palate while aromas reminiscent of pink grapefruit, key lime and ripe pineapple are present in the nose. This wine is an expression of the perfect climate for growing Riesling. Enjoy it today or for years to come as it develops elegantly in the bottle.
