Wine Review: This almost clear colored value priced Riesling performs very well with the panel each year, the 2011 is no exception. It opens with a mild lemon-lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, slightly sweet and pleasant. The flavor profile is a ripe Bartlett pear with hints of honey, pineapple and lime. The finish is semi-sweet and lingers nicely. The panel suggested that this Riesling would pair well with coconut shrimp or a seafood casserole. It's a great deal, so stock up for your fall and holiday parties before its gone. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2011 vintage offered up luscious tropical fruit, medium sweetness, and a characteristiclly vibrant acidic backbone. This Riesling is a blend of several vineyard plots with fermentation stopped at varying sweetnesses. Following this procedure, all were blended together.
