Wine Review: Opaque and dark ruby on the edge, this Vintage Port from the Columbia Valley opens with warmed dark cherry and vanilla aromas. The flavor profile is concentrated boysenberry and sloe plum up front with notes of fig paste, pistachio cream, cola and caramel notes throughout. I also detected a hint of mint on the exit. Enjoy this good value port with almond biscotti and/or pot de creme. - Jeoff
