Wine Review: This dark red colored Zweigelt (pronounced TSVYE-gelt) is a good value. It opens with a pomegranate, black cherry and musty wood bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and a little juicy. The flavor profile is a light red plum with notes of faint minerals, mild cherry and gentle red raspberry tea. I also detected some spices like nutmeg and black pepper towards the end. The finish is dry and its medium tannins stick around to make it even more interesting. If you are looking for something different and versatile, give this Zweigelt a whirl. I would pair this wine with a pork roast. Enjoy - Ken
