Wine Review: This deep pink colored Rose from Lava Creek opens with a watermelon, wet stone and strawberry bouquet with hints of plum. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied, slightly acidic, smooth and crisp. The flavor profile is a chalky mineral influenced strawberry with hints of raspberry and watermelon. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Rose would be nice on a hot summer day. Serve it slightly chilled with a grilled mahi-mahi sandwich or with a grilled chicken on a toasted bun with melted provolone cheese. Enjoy – Ken and Joe

Winemaker Notes: Rosé of Dolcetto! Darker in color than a French rose, this wine captures all the wonderful flavors contained within the Dolcetto's skin. Crisp watermelon greets the nose, transitioning to strawberry's and crème on the palate. Finishes smooth, clean, and refreshingly crisp! Lively, fresh, fun, and very flavorful.
