Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a citrus, pear, cantaloupe, and white pepper bouquet with some herbal notes. The medium body is smooth, slightly creamy, crisp, and zesty with balanced acidity and minerality. The flavor profile is a lemon, lime, and green apple blend with the notes of white pepper and herbs. I also detected some hints of light green pepper. The finish was dry and faded away nicely. I would recommend pairing this Sauvignon Blanc with pesto pasta. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: The 2022 Flume Crossing Sauvignon Blanc displays aromas of honeysuckle, lime, sweet herbs, and fig. The palate consists of bright flavors of grapefruit, kiwi, and guava, with a rich texture and long finish provided by the acacia barrels. Serve as an apéritif with goat cheese. It also pairs well with sushi, sashimi, oysters, and pesto dishes.
