Wine Review: This bright ruby colored Cab opens with a fragrant red currant bouquet with a hint of ash. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a spicy blend of red raspberry and black cherry with hints of black pepper. The finish is very dry and its managed tannins linger nicely. This wine would pair particularly well with a NY strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2005 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon captures the perfection of this exceptional vintage. This is a wine with a striking varietal aroma that quickly engages the senses and then delivers on its promise. It is brimming with dark cherry flavor, notes of vanilla and a touch of dried spice. Nicely balanced with bright acidity, this wine moves smoothly across the palate to an elegant finish. One sip will definitely lead to another with this Cabernet! It is irresistible now, and it will continue to age gracefully.
