Wine Review: This dark ruby colored wine opens with a mild black cherry bouquet with a faint hint of old oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a very mild raspberry with hints of oak and red cherry. The finish is dry and its decent tannins are noticeable and lengthy. This offering is food friendly and would pair perfectly with grilled barbecue steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, aged nine months in second-year French and American oak. Supple and ripe yet elegant, with claret-like cedar notes reminiscent of its sibling EVO (not to mention Bordeaux). 2006 matches the excellent 2005 for intensity in a slightly softer style.
