Wine Review: Gloria Ferrer has become a household name when it comes to California Sparkling Wines. Consistency and availability are what they are known for and the Blanc de Noirs is no exception. A blend of Pinot Noir (92%) and Chardonnay (8%) that is fresh and fun. The larger bubbles inform you that this sparkler has some up-front flavors, which is does. Bready with notes of Gala apples, Bartlett pears, and cantaloupe on a larger frame with crisp acidity. The finish is medium in length but doesn't taper off leaving your mouth dry. - Nicolay

Winemaker Notes: Our Blanc de Noirs is predominantly made from hand-harvested Pinot Noir grapes. Bright strawberry and black cherry aromas with subtle vanilla highlights. Creamy cherry, lemon and cola flavors combine with a lush palate, lively bubbles and a persistent finish. Outstanding with crab, Thai cuisine, roasted pork, quail, foie gras or semi-sweet deserts.
