Wine Review: This Sauvignon Blanc sourced from multiple areas in California is brilliant light gold in color and carries aromas of fresh-squeezed lemon and sourdough. On the palate, the wine offers Meyer lemon and white tea flavors with notes of almond extract and raspberry. The wine is medium-bodied and balanced with an almost buttery mouthfeel that will appeal to devotees of oaked Chardonnay. Unlike Chardonnay, however, this wine has lots more mineral-driven acidity with a tangy lime-zest and white pepper finish. Pair with Dover Sole Meuniere. – Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: Clear and bright pale straw in the glass, the 2019 California Sauvignon Blanc has a fragrant aroma, displaying grapefruit and grassy characteristics as well as a touch of melon. As it crosses your palate, crisp, lively acidity with citrus flavors including lime, lemon, and tangerine. This is a beautifully balanced wine with crisp, clean acidity and a lingering finish Serve this wine chilled, pairing it with sushi, grilled fish, or with Asian dishes.
