Wine Review: This white wine from Spain is a steal at $8. It was one of the best values we found at the Boston Wine Expo. It opens with a mild pineapple and white flower bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, and easy going. The flavor profile is a tasty mild Anjou pear with hints of gentle pineapple and a touch of white pepper and clementine. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. Joe and I really liked this very nice value wine. We suggested pairing it with a grilled chicken sandwich or chicken lo-mein. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Meaning “within flowers” this wine has a straw yellow nectary color, papaya, pineapple on the nose with grapefruity hibiscus flavor. Great body and acidity make a well rounded white with depth.
