Wine Review: It you are looking for a Cabernet that is softer and more elegant in style, give this one from the Michael Mondavi family a try. It is opaque and dark ruby colored. It opens with a fragrant black cherry bouquet with a hint of new leather and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, elegant, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black cherry with notes of integrated gentle oak and a touch of blueberry. The finish is dry and its well managed tannins drift away nicely. This Cab is very food friendly and would pair nicely with a sage and garlic crusted pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
