Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet from Napa opens with a black raspberry bouquet with hints of dark chocolate and peppermint. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a ripe black cherry with notes of plum. I also detected a hint of cedar and faint mint in the background. The finish is dry and it moderate tannins stick around from quite some time. This Cabernet would pair well with bourbon chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wonderfully ripe and layered Cabernet Sauvignon has a dense color and a rich palate rich in cassis, cherry, spice, chocolate and oak flavors.
