Wine Review: I discovered this Very Good white blend at the Boston Wine Expo. It is a pale yellow colored white blend that opens with a green melon bouquet with a hint of orange. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a tasty Bartlett pear with hints of white pepper. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. This wine is food friendly and would pair well with Halibut. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This highly anticipated release from Bennett Lane Winery is our white wine partner to our proprietary blend, Maximus. This Napa Valley white wine is a blend of 87% Sauvignon Blanc, 11% Chardonnay, and 2% Muscat. With aromas of white peach, papaya and orange blosson, this aromatic white displays incredible notes on the palate of mandarin orange, mango and nectarines. The body is crisp and refreshing. Perfect for a summer day!
