Wine Review: This young Bordeaux took some time to open up. Like over 2 to 3 days. But when it did, it was quite nice. It is bright ruby colored and opens with a shy black cherry bouquet with a hint of spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth, and easy going. The flavor profile is a gentle, yet jammy black raspberry with notes of black cherry. There is also a touch of oak in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins linger nicely. This wine would be a nice offering with a sautéed mushroom and Swiss Angus burger. Enjoy - Ken
