Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Amavi opens with red plum and mild wet stone bouquet along with hints of leather and nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The flavor profile is a flinty mineral influenced plum with notes of currant. We also detected hints of cedar, cranberry, coffee and oregano mixed in. The finish is dry and its mild dusty tannins linger for a bit. The Panel suggested pairing this Washington Cab with a juicy bacon burger, meatloaf with mushroom gravy or Stuart’s steak treats. Enjoy – KWGTP
