Wine Review: This almost clear colored Semillon from Washington State is very good. It opens with mild apple bouquet with a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and lush. The flavor profile is a ripe Anjou pear with notes of minerality and touch of lemon verbena and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Semillon is very food friendly and would pair well with grilled mahi mahi. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Smells like: Honeysuckle, orange blossom, lemon zest, wet stones Tastes like: Granny Smith apple, grapefruit, honeydew melon Mouthfeel: Refreshing acidity, rich & balanced structure Drink with: Rich fish & shellfish; spicy dishes
