Wine Review: The bouquet of this wine expresses a bit of sweet cherries and a touch of heat. On the palate, the wine is smooth and has flavor that intensify toward the back of the palate. The wine finishes a tad dry and is extended. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This 2004 Merlot is very deeply colored and generous. Aromas of black currant and blueberry dominate. There is a healthy dose of deeply tasted oak. We believe this Merlot will develop great layers with bottle age. Once again you see a great vintage with moderate tannins and a good acid backbone. This wine comes from a blend of several of the best Columbia Valley Appellation vineyards.
