Wine Review: This is one of the better reasonable priced French Chardonnays that I have tried recently. I found this rich yellow colored wine opens with a lemon custard like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very smooth, and balanced with a creamy mouthfeel. This must come from the malolactic fermentation as it was aged in stainless. The flavor profile is a tasty light apricot flavor with notes of pineapple and a touch of spice and minerals on the back palate. The finish of this wine is dry and it is nicely prolonged. This is definitely a Chard that you will want a second glass of. It is a very versatile wine that will pair nicely with linguine and clam sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Crystal clear with a hint of pale green. Subtle, with a hint of undergrowth and citrus. Rich and aromatic, balanced by classical mineral structure. Good, harmonious persistence.
