Wine Review: This was my favorite white wine at a recent trade tasting of wines from Portugal. This pale yellow wine opens with a toasty pear like bouquet. On the palate, this light bodied wine is crisp with wonderfully integrated acidity and tasty green apple flavors with a touch of lime. There is also terrific minerality throughout the wine. The finish is dry and pleasing. This wine is really going to complement many meals. I think it would go best with oysters or Chilean sea bass. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense aroma of tropical fruits combined with mineral hints and toasty oak flavors. Complex, structured and well balanced with good acidity. Very long persistence.
