Wine Review: This very affordable bright ruby wine opens with a light black cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth, balanced, and has tasty cherry flavors. The finish is dry with mild tannins that are nicely prolonged. This is a nice food friendly wine that would be a terrific glass pour and a nice introduction into Malbec. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine has a beautiful reddish/purple color as most good Malbecs do. The aromas are a mix of fresh crushed cherries and toasty/smoky oak—just enough to frame the exuberant fruit. On the palate, the flavors of cherries and spice are obvious, and the jammy fruit quality just keeps coming on strong, with hints of spice and sandalwood lurking in the background.
