Wine Review: This wine is one that I recently pulled from the cellar to see how it was doing. Well I’m happy to report that this wine is still a puppy and still quite young. This dark ruby wine opens with a spicy blackberry like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is balanced, juicy, with some lively spicy blackberry flavors. There are hints of black pepper and licorice as well. The finish is dry and slightly tingly tannins linger for a little while. Decant this wine as it smoothes out with some air. Enjoy it with a grilled pepper encrusted steak some time in the next 2-3 years. Enjoy – Ken
