Wine Review: This wine has been in the cellar for a little while and we finally decided to give it a whirl. We were quite pleased with the results. This very dark purple wine opens with a black current and black licorice like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is soft, juicy, and balanced. The flavor profile is blackberry with a touch of black pepper. The finish is dry with soft tannins that are slightly prolonged. This wine would pair nicely with barbecue ribs or jambalaya. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep garnet rim with a black centre. Lashings of dark chocolate on the nose. Showing the classic richness of Barossa Shiraz with a superb depth of fruit on the middle palate reined in by fine chalky tannins on the finish.
