Wine Review: The Shiraz and Grenache pairing has been a marriage that has worked for a very long time. This offering from Slipstream offers a nice example of how the combinations can work nicely. This very translucent ruby red wine opens with a fragrant blackberry bouquet with hints of spicy anise and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, this wine is round, has some lively acidity, and lush ripe spicy blackberry like flavors. The finish is dry, has mild tannins that linger for a little while. Enjoy – Ken
