Wine Review: This light yellow wine opens with a very attractive perfumed pear like bouquet with citrus overtones. On the palate, the wine display lively acidity, shows some weight, creaminess, and has a refreshing sweetness to it. The wine has iced tea like flavors with lemon hints. The wine would be a nice summer sipper or for those of you in Florida this winter enjoy it on the lanai. Cheers - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A full-fruit Kabinett (actually declassified Auslese) displaying the famous herb spice and minerality originating in Ürzig's rocky, red-slate southfacing slopes. A basketful of fruit on the nose and palate is held together tightly by ripe yet firm acidity.
