Wine Review: I recently attended a tasting of the wines chosen to for the new "Wine For Dummies" wine portfolio. This Sauvignon Blanc from Teira was one of the wines that stood out for both quality and price. This light yellow wine opens with a pleasant mild melon like bouquet. On the palate, the wine is light bodied, refreshing, and displays appealing lime like flavors with hints of lemon. The finish is dry and subtle. This wine is very versatile and light and would match well with roasted chicken and a light fish like sole. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of bright citrus, grapefruit, melon and lemongrass on the nose. On the palate, equally bright flavors of lemon-lime and citrus fruits combine with a hint of minerality. A crisp natural acidity adds backbone to this lively wine and leads into a very clean finish.
