Wine Review: We recently enjoyed a nice get away weekend in Newport and this is the wine we brought with us from the cellar. We were very pleased with the choice. This dark golden colored wine opens with a rich apricot and honeydew melon like bouquet with hints of light oak. On the palate, this full bodied wine is creamy, fleshy, but smooth, and extremely well balanced. It displays light lemon flavors with almond and butter influences. The wine closes dry and gently glides to its finish. If you like big rich California Chardonnay you will enjoy this wine. Enjoy – Ken
