Wine Review: We enjoyed this wine with a seafood dinner with friends after the Newport Wine Festival. It was a pleasantly refreshing wine to enjoy after a long day of tasting many great wines. On the nose, this light yellow wine expresses a very aromatic grapefruit like bouquet with hints of peach. On the palate, this wine is lively, quite crisp, and has grapefruit like flavors with some lemon as well. The finish is dry, refreshing, and lingers for quite some time. The wineries website says Te Muna means secret place. So grab a bottle and share this wine with someone in your secret place. Cheers - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale straw with green hints. The aromas are of white peach, citrus and delicate tropical fruits. The mouth filling palate is awash with flavors of fresh apple, nectarine, lime and tropical notes. The flavors are underlined by fine supporting acidity and a chalky texture that leads into a very long, rich and clean lime and passionfruit finish.
