Wine Review: This wine truly intrigued me once it warmed up. Most people have not truly experienced too many "White" CDP’s. At first I thought it must have had Viognier in it based upon its nose. However, as you can see from the above blend it was not. It is mostly Grenache Blanc, which I have had before. But I wondered about the Clairette Blanc & the Bourboulenc. So upon some investigation, I found out that Clairette Blanc is a white wine grape often used to make Vermouth. It is best suited to produce wines high in alcohol and low in acidity. Bourboulenc's high acid content makes it popular for use in blends to which it brings body and spicy flavors. This wine opens with a very fresh floral bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied white wine is nicely balanced, refreshing, and a bit creamy. The flavor profile was pears. The finish is dry and really pleasant. I would pair this wine with many chicken dishes. However, my colleagues seemed to enjoy it with their sushi. The finish is dry and really pleasant. Enjoy – Ken
