Wine Review: This very dark purple wine opens with a spicy black pepper and licorice bouquet with hints of wood and pencil shavings. On the palate, this wine is round and has forward dusty plum and blackberry like flavors with prominent dark chocolate influences. On the finish, the wine is dry, a touch hot, acidic, and tingly as it lingers for a little while. This wine would pair nicely with meat lasagna. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: violet, leather, and blueberry aromas float in the glass, wrapping the palate wih black licorice, minerals, fig, and dark chocolate. Bold texture eases into a lovely send-off of exotic spices.
