Glacé de Vino Raspberry Merlot Cheesecake Ice Cream
This is absolutely delicious ice cream. It tastes like raspberry cheesecake. Ken could not stop eating this ice cream. This was Ken’s favorite! White color with raspberry swirl throughout. Could taste the Merlot, but not overpowering. Creamy. A delectable treat or dessert. Glacé de Vino Ice Cream retails for between $3.99 and $4.99 per pint.
Glacé de Vino Chocolate Amaretto Cream Sherry Ice Cream
Very chocolaty. A chocolate lover’s delight! Can taste rich, creamy chocolate and amaretto flavors. The amaretto flavor is more present than the sherry, but not overpowering. Delicious. Chocolate brown color.
Glacé de Vino Strawberry Cream Chardonnay Ice Cream
Creamy. Tasted strawberry in vanilla ice cream with a hint of Chardonnay flavor. White color with strawberry swirl throughout. Very good ice cream.
Glacé de Vino Chocolate Cabernet Sauvignon Ice Cream
Rich and creamy. Delicious chocolate flavors, but could really only taste a hint of Cabernet Sauvignon in the swirl. Chocolate brown color with Cabernet Sauvignon swirl. Tasted like chocolate ice cream. Chocolate lovers will love it!
Mercer’s Royal White Riesling Ice Cream
Creamy, has nice well balanced Riesling flavors (almost piña colada like flavors). Smooth to taste. Fresh. White color. A very good dessert. This is our second favorite ice cream! Mercer’s Ice Cream sells for an average retail price of $6.99 per pint.
Mercer’s Peach White Zinfandel Ice Cream
White color with lovely peach chunks. Very good. Sweet. Light wine flavor. A White Zinfandel drinker would be very happy with this ice cream.
Mercer’s Red Raspberry Chardonnay Ice Cream
Big raspberry flavor with just a hint of Chardonnay. Smooth and creamy. Very good. Pink color.
Mercer’s Ala Port Ice Cream
Notable port wine flavors. Tastes the most like wine. Very creamy and smooth. Tasty. Battleship gray color. Would match well with fruit.
Wine Cellar Sorbet Riesling New York 2005
Lime like sweet flavors. Refreshing. Mild Riesling taste. White color. Nice and light dessert after a meal. Could serve as a palate cleanser before the meal or in between courses. Would pair well with chocolate. This was our second Favorite sorbet. The suggested retail price for Wine Cellar Sorbet is $6.99 per pint.
Wine Cellar Sorbet Rosé May Wine New York
Tastes of strawberries. Sweet and fruity tasting. Light, not overpowering. Smooth. Attractive pink color. Really great flavor. Gentle smell. Delicious dessert. Would match well with chocolate. This was our favorite sorbet! It would make a tasty smoothie.

You forgot one major company that makes the best wine ice cream called Vineyard Ice Cream(tm). Based out of Nebraska, this is the “true” wine ice cream. Not just choclate or vanilla based, but a true red wine or white wine ice cream with other flavors added in. Try that and let me know who you think is the best. By the way you don’t have to be 21 years old because it has been approved by the federal government as “safe for all ages.” Thanks,
Shari Puterman
hi everyone..
i have had the ice cream listed in the blog, but i have also had the vineyard ice cream shari mentioned ( the espresso and red wine was amazing!).. and to be honest it is much better than the ones listed above. my second Fav would be Glace de vino, the problem with this one was it didn’t have a very strong wine flavor. i haven’t had the sorbet yet.. i am going to look for that.. but the mercer’s dairy ice cream.. i thought was gross. the wine separated from the cream and it was freezer burnt before i got it home. i wouldn’t spend the money for it again I would really recommend that Theresa and Ken try Vineyard Ice Cream and then vote again! thanks
