Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir was the winner of our recent Big Blind Tasting. It opens with a musty red beet bouquet with hints of Maraschino cherry and new oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a delicious red plum and cherry-cola blend with hints of new oak, black pepper and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its flavors sail along for a very long time. The panel suggested pairing this wonderful Pinot with cedar plank grilled salmon or sushi dynamite roll. Enjoy - KWGTP
