Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from Carneros opens with a vanilla oak bouquet with a hint of lemon and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acid and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mild vanilla oak infused caramel and lemon blend. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely after the wine is gone. This Chard would pair well with most chicken dishes with a cream sauce. Try it with chicken and broccoli over penne and smothered in a light cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
