Wine Review: This pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon is a fruit bomb. It opens with a black cherry bouquet with hints of eucalyptus and plum. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe black raspberry and blackberry jam blend with notes of black licorice, blueberry and oak. The finish is dry and its black and blue fruit flavors linger and last for some time. This wine would pair well with roast pork with dried cherries and fig. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: An eight-barrel selection from our home vineyard, this elegant 2012 Cabernet has a dusty blackberry nose of considerable proportion that yields to dried plums and cassis. The flavors are bold and plush with a velvet interior, overall the impression is one of rounded elegance. We recommend a purchase of at least three bottles: one for tomorrow's decanter, one for a dinner party in a year or two, one for much longer aging in your cellar.
