Wine Review: This ruby colored red blend from Washington State is very very good! It opens with pleasant mild black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty cherry and gentle red plum with notes of light oak. I also detected hints of strawberry licorice. The finish is dry and its fine tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This red blend is very elegant and food friendly. I would pair this wine with a filet mignon in the near term. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The nose on our 2012 Uriah exudes complex layers of herbs and almond paste. On the palate, it is very creamy with bright flavors of summer fruit and the fine tannins lead to a spectacularly long finish.
