Wine Review: This bright yellow colored Chardonnay from Oregon opens with mild lemon-lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused Anjou pear with notes of green apple. I also picked up a hint of lemon verbena as well. The finish is dry and it fades way nicely. This Chard is very food friend and versatile. I would serve it with Wolfgang Pucks’ butterflied trout in lemon caper butter with fingerling potatoes. Enjoy - Ken
