Wine Review: This ruby colored Zinfandel from Washington is very good! It opens with a fragrant cherry-cola bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with notes of black cherry and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins are nicely prolonged. This Zin is food friendly and would pair well with slow cooked beef brisket. Enjoy - Ken

Part 2 - The holiday season is a time for decadent desserts and dessert wine. Mirror flavors – pair pumpkin pie with late harvest Gewurztraminer.
