Wine Review: This dark red colored Rhone blend opens with a red raspberry and black currant like bouquet with a hint of black jelly bean. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is a pleasant blackberry and black currant blend hints of smoked beef jerky, olive, anise spice and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger for a little while. This very approachable red has a bit of a rustic flair to it. That said, it is friendly enough to pair with Coq au vin. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Rich, soft and plush yet perfectly dry, this southern Rhone inspired blend will fill your mouth with pleasure.

Your comments on this wine:

Are all wines meant to be aged? No. In fact, perhaps 90% of today's wines are vinified for consumption within 2 years of the vintage.
